Talk about a stellar lineup here! The ‘KKC legacy is so important from a house music vantage point that we don’t really no where to begin. Let’s just say we would religiously record the Friday Night Audio program–EVERY FRIDAY–and have tons of cassettes to prove it. They constantly dropped the best in NEW deep house and you never knew when they would drop the ultimate cut!!! As a result, we always kept a portable recorder in the car and recorded a lot of the audio snippets through the air as the track in question would blast over the radio. We got turned on to countless tracks that way.
