Shelter turns 21! We’re legal now!
Shelter is back and we have reached adulthood. The party has gone through many trials and tribulations but we have withstood all challenges and in 2011, we turn 21. Twenty-one years of providing you with the best dance party ever and we will be back with a bang.
We are returning to the name SHELTER and the party will be at our present address at 150 Varick Street. The party will be in a new room, which is being completed as you read this. The new room is more spacious, a perfect square and the sound will take you back to the good ole days. The opening will be in Feb 2011. The starting date will be forthcoming but we will open in February for sure. The party will move its’ hours to Sunday afternoons with plenty of time to get your dance on. This will ensure that we have our 21st Anniversary Parties, Pt.1 in New York and Pt.II in Miami. Hooray!
The dates for WMC 2011 have been announced and we will be there again as well. 21st Anniversary Party Pt. II will be at the Shelbourne Resort in the venue Shine, South Beach, Miami on March 8, 2011. Shine has been renovated as well so our 21st anniversary parties are sure to be special.You will have the pleasure of experiencing our coming of age at new digs in NY and Miami. Mark it down and make plans to join us in 2011 for the year that Shelter turns 21. It’s been long coming but it will be a very special year. Please enjoy the holidays and see you really soon.
