After enormous success in it’s inaugural year, New York’s Electronic Music Festival, Electric Zoo, will hit Randall’s Island once again on September 4 and 5, 2010. The event will feature more than 50 local, national and international DJ’s and artists including some of the biggest house, trance and techno superstars. Amongst the lineup is British electronica duo The Chemical Brothers, Moby and acclaimed trance DJ Armin Van Buuren.
Spread across 24 acres on New York’s Randall’s Island, the bash promises not only a diverse line-up of artists, but 2 days filled with a variety of activities for everyone. Electric Zoo Sponsor, EVOL – eternally optimistic apparel, who launches their new online store as the event hits Gotham, (www.evol.com) will host a variety of contests, giveaways and other festive fun. Partiers can enjoy interactive twitter competitions, a beach ball bonanza and giveaways of EVOL T-shirts, glowsticks and more. Some lucky revelers will even receive gift certificates for www.evol.com, which features some of the most exquisitely comfortable men and women’s t-shirts on the market today.
Love spelled backward, EVOL apparel represents life as an evolutionary journey, where we get knocked down and stand back up; our hearts still beating, still strong. EVOL is about overcoming the adversity that life presents in an irreverently cheeky style.
Tickets for Electric Zoo are $86.00 per day or $142 .00 for a two-day pass and can be purchased at www.electriczoofestival.tickets.musictoday.com. Be sure to stop by the EVOL booth for activities and merchandise.
