Between 2002 – 2009 Steve Lawler brought something very special to the London club scene. Harlem Nights ran every month @ The End for 7 years, packing in a knowledgeable crowd who were there for the music, and bringing an electric and friendly atmosphere that is still talked about to this day. Rarely can a residency truly be labelled as legendary, but Steve’s Harlem Nights residency certainly was.

Now after a 2 year hiatus, we can announce that Steve is re-launching his legendary Harlem Nights residency on Saturday 2nd April at Crucifix in London Bridge. Giving old fans of Harlem Nights & Steve as well as new faces a chance to witness a rare and exclusive 5 hour set from the world renowned DJ.

Steve is committed to recapturing the special vibe of his previous Harlem Nights events. As such, he has sourced the perfect warehouse style space in Crucifix, that will provide the perfect backdrop to this exciting new chapter for his London residency. With the venue holding a maximum of 650 people, it will be a rare chance to see Steve play an extended set in an intimate setting. Additionally, VIVa MUSiC’s Bearweasel will be on hand with their warm, deep and dubby brand of house music as they return to face the Harlem Nights crowd that they know so well.

Room 2 will be hosted by eVIVE Records, the electronica arm of Lawler’s VIVa MUSiC label. On hand will be rising starlets Micromattic, Aboutface, and Beatoven. Delivering an altogether more chilled out and experimental sound this will serve as a perfect musical alternative for the Harlem Nights tribe.
