More Info

This years Hot Nights / Warm Coats charity event will be a huge BBQ at Creston Park.

I will be camped out in the rain acceptiing donations of “gently used winter coats” which will be donated to local children who so desperately need them.

I will have FREE BEER and FOOD for anyone who comes through and makes a donation. I encourage everybody to bring their own beer, food and BBQ to make sure you dont just end up with one free wiene…r.

This is of course a hiphop charity and it will be full of rappers throughout the day.

The emcees which everyone loves and supports are more than just musicians and rappers. These are innovative, educated leaders of men. They’re good people, good parents, good friends and the best of company.

They have families, friends, children, even dogs which dont get recognized as part of the whole package that completes the artist as a genuine person. We have designed this event to showcase the other qualities that we hold dear as a community. Family, Fellowship, Honor, Charity, Smoked Meats… in a nice outdoor setting and a conversational tone.

So what were gonna do is THROW IT DOWN AT THE PARK OLD SCHOOL STYLE.

I have obtained the permit that allows us to get faded and cook food, just like on Menace II Society.

THIS WILL NOT BE A “SHOW”
THERE WILL BE NO AMPLIFIED MUSIC NOR A MICROPHONE

That however, has never stopped anyone I know from rapping.

So please, join us. Get those “gently used” winter coats, grab your BBQ, bring your beer/wine, your kids and your dog and come join the most exclusively inclusive community in the city.
***all coats raised will be distributed to the children of low income and single parent familied via Impact NW. Our goal is to provide these kids with the basic staples of a quality self esteem – including a nice coat, with the belief that the exterior appearance is often the first obstacle preventing kids from attending school on a regular basis.
