New York, NY – (October 29, 2009) – After successfully premiering his SUPERFRAICHE POP NIGHT in June, pop music blogger Arjan Writes will be organizing the next installment of his popular pop music night on November 12 at Santos Party House in NYC.
The second edition of the SUPERFRAICHE POP NIGHT will feature a sweet and crunchy blend of emerging new pop artists from both Europe and the U.S.. Scheduled to perform are New York electro-pop sensation Menya, synth pop artist Brad Walsh, Universal/Motown act Reni Lane and emerging pop vocalist Erin Christine. Arjan will also introduce Sam Taylor, one of the most promising pop acts for 2010, who was discovered by Kylie Minogue’s right-hand man William Baker, and will make his much-anticipated U.S. debut. DJs A Crowd Electric will be spinning hot pop tunes between sets. They recently produced remixes for Madonna and Britney Spears.
Digital music store 7Digital (http://us.7digital.com) will be giving away free music downloads to all people attending in support of War Child (http://www.warchild.ca), an organization which provides humanitarian assistance to war-affected children around the world.
The SUPERFRAICHE POP NIGHT will be featured on Arjan’s new SUPERFRAICHE pop show on Good Radio’s Just Hits station, a premier internet radio station.
The second SUPERFRAICHE POP NIGHT is an exciting new way for Arjan to present hot new talents to his readers and other pop music insiders. “I’m very excited about the line-up of artists I’ve been able to gather for this second pop night,” Arjan says. “The success of the first pop night demonstrated that people in New York love pop music, and are looking for a new night to see sweet and crunchy new pop music in New York.”
