Lake Street Collective
Every second Saturday of the month we bring the underground vibe to Cat’s Meow. For years the epicenter of Chicago’s underground party scene was on the 600 block of Lake Street. Revolutionary Music’s Safe House was on the north side of the street and the illmeasures loft was on the south side. DJs, performers, and party people from all over the world found their way to the now legendary illicit parties. Revolutionary Music and illmeasures have joined forces as the Lake Street Collective to bring that vibe back for a monthly party at Cat’s Meow. This semi-private party for the alumni of Lake Street’s underground scene takes place every second Saturday of the month. We launched in November 2008 and have had amazing parties every month since.
