In January 2008 Kills was discovered by will.i.am and went on to sign her to Interscope/Cherrytree Records via his imprint in late 2008. She was noticed for her self-produced and written demo EP Wommanequin which features the song “Real Woman”, a song about her challenge of society’s view of the perfect female form.
Martin Kierszenbaum, who is known for developing artist such as Lady Gaga, Robyn, La Roux, Feist, Sting, Far East Movement and Die Antwoord, is the man behind Natalia Kills.
