Gallery Bar’s Tuesday party, Rando, is starting off the year with
guest DJ Dave Nada (Dubsided, Nadastrom), inventor of the genre
Moombathon. Dave Nada is known for being one half of the DJ duo
Nadastrom (along with Matt Nordstrom) who reached the top of the
Beatport charts with “Pussy”. Nadastrom’s signature style is mixing elements
of club music, classic house and dark techno.
Along with this, Dave Nada has done something not many have – he
invented an entirely new music genre, Moombathon; a combination of
dutch house and reggaeton. Moombathon has since mutated into something
much more than just a genre; a whole movement that has united latin
music lovers of a new generation.
Tuesday Jan 11th Dave Nada will be laying it down in the Gallery Bar
basement, with a set that should take you on a journey throughout all
genres and feelings. Accompanying him will be resident DJs Dances with
white girls, Full Time Fun, and ArQ. And like every tuesday night you
can get 2 for 1 margaritas from 10-12 pm.
