ROLLOVER DJ FAMILY BIOGRAPHY
CK

CK is a highly respected and hugely experienced house DJ whose shows, radio sessions and promotions are legendary in the Slough, Windsor, Reading and South London areas. He has played at some of the largest clubs in London including the Ministry of Sound, Pacha and Egg and has made over 200 DJ appearances in the last 5 years at countless local clubs and bars playing his own unmistakable brand of bouncy, positive and melodic tech house with strong tribal and techno elements.

CK started his DJ career at 15 playing UK garage with local crew “Talk of the Town” and soon established himself as a stalwart of the local UK garage scene, playing alongside established names such as So Solid Crew, Masterstepz, Pay As You Go and Roll Deep, playing countless local parties in the Slough and Windsor area, and headlining various self-promoted events at colleges in Egham and Kingston. After 5 years working on the garage and drum ‘n’ bass scene, at 20 he made the natural progression into house music, where he has focussed his energies and love of cutting edge electronic music for the past 5 years with considerable success.

This year alone CK has played at Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Egg (London), Whitehouse, Inigo (Clapham), 54 (Mile End and Shoreditch), Mangos, the Venue (Reading), Glasshouse (Wycombe), Noir (Weybridge), Liquid, Indigo, Scotch Bar, Havana (Windsor), Cheekees (Staines, CK works as music policy advisor and is currently resident on Friday evenings) and worked for promotion nights Rollover, Fusion, MiMo, Plastic Disco, D.Y.N., Bodymove, Habit, Blush, We Love Pacha, Fracture, Four to the Floor, Tec La Tron, playing alongside Norman Jay MBE, Seb Fontaine, Brandon Block, Hoxton Whores, James Talk and Chris ‘Mimo’ Jones but has never been over-awed

‘Rollover’ is CK’s personal club night currently running every Bank Holiday week-end at Bar ‘H’ in Langley since April 2009. Each night has sold out its 300+ capacity and with its mixed music policy of house, garage and drum ‘n’ bass is recognised as the best (maybe only!) serious underground dance night in the Slough/Windsor area. Headlining DJs have included DJ Cartier and MC Kie, Serial Killerz and Chris ‘Mimo’ Jones for the next confirmed event. Future 2010 ‘Rollovers’ are planned for Windsor, Reading and London.
Since March 2010, from 8pm to 10pm every Saturday evening, CK brings his ‘Rollover Sessions’ to More FM (morefmlive.net and 103.2 FM). This highly successful show continues to gain a fanatical audience of listeners, the highlight being a now-legendary 8-hour ‘Rollover Session’ that took place in early June 2010.
More bookings continue to be confirmed for CK in the second half of 2010, including returns to the Egg Club and Pacha. More Rollover Promotions events outside CK’s Slough/Langley heartland are planned, starting in August. CK plans to finally start working on his own music productions at his embarrassingly well-equipped home studio (actually the studio belongs to his dad aka I-sense). Finally, look out for the launch in late 2010 of the ‘Rollover Series’ Mix CDs.

JAN PACULA
Jan has been DJing for over 15 years, mainly favouring pumping, techy and prog house but also enjoy playing vocals so as the track itself has a bit of Oooooomf! Currently my favourite artists are Magitman, Robert Babicz, Dousk, Lutzenkirchen and Joris Voorn to name but a few. Jan has played all over London and the South East including Hidden, Pacha, Ministry of Sound as well as a regular residency for Aquamelon in Sopot, Poland and previously for Plastic disco (Inigo, Clapham). Jan has numerous influences but these are obviously changing constantly as house music evolves at such a ridiculous pace but artist such Layo & Bushwacka, John Digweed, Fred Everything, Fluke, Deep Dish have done it for me for a long time and shaped the sound that i play today….

JAY EVANS
Jay purchased his first set of decks at the age of 16, he started out spinning electro and hip hop at small house parties locally in Windsor. It was in 1988 when Jay went to his first acid house nite and was instantly hooked on this new style of music. He landed his first booking in a club called Valbonnes in Maidenhead, back in 1990, he continued to be the fortnightly resident for 3 years until unfortunately the club closed. It was then that Jay was approached by local promoters of a very big and successful nite named THE FULL MONTY. Jay would warm up the floor for big name djs such as Andy Weatherall, Danny Rampling, Sasha and Carl Cox to name but a few, this led to other events in and around the area, Berkshire and London.
Jay has played sets at clubs such as :- MOS, The Egg, The Wag Club (Paris), The Whitehouse, Miss Moneypennies, Float ur Boat, Mangos. Jays passion for music shows through his unique style of funky uplifting/progressive/tech house.
Jay is a well loved character, who is known as JAY ‘WE LOVE YAAAAA’ EVANS by all who know him and love his music……As Jay would say…… WE LOVE YAAAAAA !!!!!!!!!!!

KRISTIAN BARKER aka INAUDIBLE
Growing up through the rise of rave music in Slough, Kristian Barker was drawn to kick drums at an early age. Finding his feet firmly wedged into the underground dance music scene, before he had even left school, he embarked upon an epic journey of discovery and musical enjoyment. Over the past twenty years Kristian a.k.a. Inaudible has been carving his way through the different genres of electronic music and found himself here, now, at this moment in time with a love for anything that makes him want to dance and jump about. Playing a mix of Dirty, Tech, Vocal, Deep, Minimal and Electro House, Nu- Disco, Breaks and Techno, Kristian Barker always keeps the crowd alive and smiling wide. Having played across Asia and been last summers resident at Filth, in, Australia’s main music hub, Melbourne, Kristian Barker is back in the UK playing all over the South east with such successful productions as Fracture (High Wycombe), Rollover (Berkshire) and Mindless Logic (East London). Kristian Barker will blow you away.
