Saturday 17th July sees the sparkling new monthly party, BODYMOVE transform the Egg into the capital’s cosmopolitan newest Upfront House, Electronica and Nu Disco haven spread across its three unique floors and impressive garden.
Transformed for the evening with customised production and visuals, confetti explosions, performance and animation team and dance shows, BodyMove is putting on the glitz. Last month’s massive party with Radio 1 DJ diva, Lottie alongside Caged Baby’s producer/DJ achemist Thomas Gandey topped a thousand clubbers, and this month BodyMove goes more cutting edge introducing up and coming party talents, Guest*Star, Audiodamage & the Closure crew. Since its inception four months ago, BodyMove has seen sets from Mr C (Superfreq/ Sychopant Slags), Junior Jack & Kid Creme, Michael Gray (Full Intention/Robot Man), and Boy George.
Guest*Star’s Italo-flavoured group of party people are banging it for underground musical scene fusing electro and tech-housed with party energy. Percussionist and DJ Brother Snare helms the crew having rocked events such as Gatecrasher (with the no 1 DJ Tiesto headlining) and Cheeky People with Carl Cox & Friends at Heaven with his rocking mix of Congas, bongos and maracas. He is joined by Salvo Riggi, best known for his explosive minimal “You See Me” track and his album “Resuscitation” which delves deep into the universe of Salvo sound. Now working on his second album, Salvo also combines his music with his acting career, and is best known as the much-loved protagonist of the reality show, “Shipwrecked” (English edition of the format Survivor) and was also in “Batman Begins”.
Antonio Vinciguerra is one of Italy’s fast rising DJ’s, based in Milan at the Nika Music Store, the best known reference point for DJ producers in Italy. He spins the unexpected and has played at events for Rizla, Coca Cola as well as clubs such as Space, Digital, and Spain’s ABC location.
Audiodamage is one of the UK’s happening labels, best known for their Kid Massive smashes and Ibiza boat parties, as headlined by the larger than life, Fran Cosgrave. He is joined by a solid set of DJ/producers including Stefano Aziati (CRT Recs), the Ethan Project and Cozzie.
Rounding up the BodyMove line up are the Closure crew who take over The Loft whilst D.Y.N are in The Garden with Franco Conte and Lee Raphael spinning a balearic house selection and joined by the BodyMove residents Ali B and Strictly Rhythm’s Femi B. Enjoy chilled beats in Egg’s secret weapon and place to be seen partying in, especially during this current run of sunshine.
And at this summer session, Egg’s club within a club, The Apothecary is open with Tec La Tron lining up Dominic FX and guests to keep the tech vibe flowing.
