INKS RECORD DEAL WITH ULTRA RECORDS FOR 2009
RELEASE OF HIS DEBUT ALBUM ‘OUTPUT’
DANCE FLOOR SENSATION TO TOUR
NORTH AMERICA THIS NOVEMBER
ULTRA Records, the leading label in dance music, is pleased to announce it has inked a deal with Dutch sensation FEDDE LE GRAND for the release of his debut album Output next year (date TBA). Exact details about the album will be revealed early in 2009, but for now LE GRAND will travel to the U.S. and Canada for a DJ tour throughout November 2008. Also during the tour, ULTRA will make the first single from the album “3 Minutes” available as a single via iTunes.
Renowned for his dynamite sets as much as for his high-end production, this is a rare chance for clubbers on this side of the Atlantic to catch LE GRAND live. The 15-date tour will give fans a first listen to cuts from Output and his other favorite tracks in a club setting. Cities included on the trek are Toronto, St Louis, Minneapolis, Ottawa, Miami, New York, Quebec, Los Angeles, Montreal, Vancouver, San Francisco, Sacramento, San Diego, Calgary and Chicago.
FEDDE LE GRAND is already one of the biggest stars in dance music, working with the likes of Madonna, will.i.am and the Stereo MC’s, while topping international music charts. Via his own Flamingo Recordings, LE GRAND produced the world-wide pop-crossover smash “Put Your Hands Up For Detroit,” released by ULTRA in 2007. The song hit #1 in the U.K., Spain, Russia, Finland and Bulgaria and earned numerous IDMA accolades including: “Best Underground House Track,” “Best Breaks/Electro Track” and “Best Breakthrough Solo Artist.”
